After a few test models, the 1964 Ford Mustang came to be and it changed everything. A few years later, pony cars like the Camaro, Hemi Cuda, G.T.O., Trans Am and a few others came to production ready to put their mark on the floor and compete for the title of America's Pony Car. Today, a four cylinder engine produces more horsepower and torque than the original v-8 engines of the 60's. No wonder it continues to be America's Pony.
